When I first saw the Whisker Bisquit arrow rest from Carolina Archery Products my  thought was "no way can that thing be accurate". However It did clearly hold the arrow with total security which is a big advantage for hunting. After talking to Ike from Carolina Archery Products and getting his assurance that his Whisker Bisquit was indeed accurate I agreed to try one on my personal bow. That turned out to be an excellant decision, I quikly fell in love with not having to pay constant attention to my arrow position and my groups were as tight as they had ever been. 

Though I have tried other rests since then when it has come time to hunt a Whisker Bisquit has always returned to my bow. In the seven years since I first saw a Whisker Bisquit I and my employees have mounted thousand of Whisker bisquits on customers bows. We have found it easy to set up and tune, durable, and trouble free in the field.

We are often asked about accuracy with a Whisker Bisquit rest. Our experiance and that of thousands of our customers has been that they are able to shoot  just as tight groups with the Whisker Bisquit rest as with any other.

Another question we are asked is about noise when drawing an arrow. This has not proved to be a problem if you keep your arrows and the rest free of dirt and debri. In extreme cold the bristles on the bisquit do become stiffer and this can lead to unacceptable arrow noise. One of our customers hunts Alberta every year, sometimes in sub zero temperatures. He has found a little bit of chapstick on the bristles keeps his arrows quiet.  

Speed loss is another thing we are asked about. Our testing has found about a 2 fps loss for most arrows as compared to a dropaway rest. This little bit of speed is not noticable except by chronograph and is a a good tradeoff for the arrow security of a Whisker Bisquit arrow rest.

Our conclusion:

The Whisker Bisquit arrow rest from Carolina Archery Products is our hands down favorite hunting rest, we highly recommend it.
